Countin all yer votes
Voting officials in Minnesota have their work cut out for them in the great Coleman-Franken recount of 2008. At lot is riding on the outcome, so state officials are taking everything very seriously, and setting careful advisory procedures to accurately count challenged ballot.
Here is one of the challenged ballots–this individual voter’s intent wasn’t quite clear, which is why voting officials have such a difficult task ahead of them.
