Maybe it’s time to change some stoopid laws

Electric vehicles may or may not be the solution to our transportation economy, but fer god sakes give them the same basic roadway rights as a bicycle..
The smartest (and easiest) way for local government to contribute to revolutionizing our adaptation of alternative vehicles is to align safety laws with reality. If it is legal for a cyclist to ride on any surface road short of an interstate, why can’t urban electric vehicles?
