Partisan politics spill over to race car manufacturers

No, I’m not talking about the questionable Auto Racing Tracks provision in the proposed Senate bailout bill.
Porsche accuses Nissan of exaggerating their GT-R lap time at the Nurburgring road course in Germany. Nobody had questioned Nissan until Porsche saw the GT-R’s seemingly extraordinary lap times, went out and bought their own GT-R, and commenced with their own testing.
