Is Palin Capable of Telling the Truth?

CNN: Palin Never in Iraq, campaign now says

She’s a quick study alright. It’s like Palin and McCain are having a competition to see who can tell the most audacious lie. I think she might be pulling ahead.

i guess you’re allowed to create a post, but not edit your own title. .Dumb, I know. I will look into that.

Sure, she should address the misstatements of her aides. But did her aide’s misstatement make its way into some kind of official record and become a cornerstone of Palin’s story? Onto her website, only to be flushed down the memory hole? Was the misstatement proclaimed loud and clear on the Senate floor?

So, in fairness and in response to your comment, I attempted to edit the title of my post to say “Is Team Palin Capable of Telling the Truth?” but when I went to “save” I received something to the effect of “you’re not entitled to save as this user” as a response under the “manage” menu.

I won’t belabor the issue that when an aide makes a point of fact about your resume, you, as the candidate, are responsible to confirm that point of fact. Do you not think, given the tiny list of countries (I think we’re at two, now) to which Palin has traveled, that she had no role in compiling the list?

I’ll test your Categories question and get back to you.

Zac – are you able to see the Categories when you submit a new post? For some reason it creates a Categoy 1.

When did she say she went to Iraq? She * never * did.

How can she be lying if she never said it?
