Americans want “change” at any cost. . .

January 31, 2008

. . .which really is an immature reason to vote.  Do Americans really know anything about government and oversized bureaucracy?

Do Americans honestly believe that the Obama™ brand will impart real change in Washington when the apparatus controlling his every appearance and scripting his every word already controls most of the (supposedly) despised Washington establishment?  Whether it’s Obama, Clinton, or even McCain, it’s  “Honey, which color scarf should our little Establishment wear today?”

So yeah, let’s vote for “Change”.

You’re right, lofty and hopeful at best. Not unlike this statement from the johnmccain.com: “Americans want a courageous leader who will stand up to the trial lawyers and labor bosses and other special interests, govern by principle rather than political expedience, keep their promises, and solve problems instead of leaving them for our children.” Quite a one man army…perhaps they forgot the water to wine and parting of the seas bit as well.

Let’s be honest here. Perhaps we can “transcend” politics entirely with a McCain/Obama ticket in 2008.

Got something to say?
