Rider$ on the $torm…

July 29th, 2006

Dude, I’m like, so stoked about this potential estate tax cut.  With that extra money, I’ll be able to afford paying Miguel and Jorge this new minimum wage to upkeep the lawn on my vacation home in the Hamptons.  It’s totally a win-win.  Go team bureaucracy!

Clift only seems like a moderate to you because you’re so far to the left you make the KosKids look like pretty little bunnies!

Regardless of whether Mort voted for Bush all of his campaign donations, look on OpenSecrets.org & see who he’s been sending money to for the last 10 years.

That panel was evenly distributed by all measures.

A douche is a douche regardless of their ideological orientation but I don’t know how solid Zuckerman’s liberal credentials are considering that he admittedly voted for Bush in 2004. McLaughlin is on NBC in NYC and lets take a look at the panel…

Mort Zuckerman – voted for Bush
Tony Blankely – Editor at one of the most conservative newspapers and
    douchebag supreme
Pat Buchanaon – ’nuff said (but at least fairly rational on foreign policy)
Eleanor Clift – seems pretty moderate

Not exactly a left wing dreamteam is it?

Glad you’re noticing that “douchebag’ liberals like Zuckerman sometimes fail to give the whole story, even on ‘balanced’ networks like PBS.

Today on The McLaughlin Group, billionaire Mort Zuckerman’s final comment was to let everyone know that the Republicans in Congress were working to pass a $2 per hour minimum wage increase. He failed to mention anything about the estate tax cut included in the legislation. What a deuche.
