Olbermann leads with John Dean
July 13, 2006
MSNBC’s ratings seem to have nowhere to go but up. But how can Kenny get ‘em there leading his segment with JOHN DEAN? At least Lawrence O’Donnell concedes that the Plame lawsuit doesn’t (outwardly) have a snowball’s chance in hell.

Perhaps you should explain to your readers why you are so concerned about the New York Times writing about US surveillance of financial transactions but yet, judging by this post, are not concerned about the outing of an undercover CIA agent (ironically working on non-conventional weapons issues) by the Bush admin.? We’re getting mixed signals… or perhaps you just flip-flopped and are now a terrorist sympathizer?
Be still, my baby. Seems to be a huge lack of finding in the Plame case, but that’s just me reading the news again. Case isn’t over yet but where do ya think it can go from here? The filing of some more self-promoting lawsuits?
The NYT case will get hashed out too and I promise you I will discard any wrongheaded notions with equal enthusiam once I know that some independent authority has spent more than two years of time studying the facts.
Something tells me your more TO’d about the Plame case than you were about the NYT/Global Finance leak or the NYT/Newseek/NSA leak.
