Immigration rallies all over the place

This is now a sustained movement by most measures–and we’re not talking about the efforts from the likes of the reform-minded Minutemen and Pat Buchanan types we’ve been hearing from for the last several years. How did this many people organize so quickly, (seemingly) under the radar? Hmmm, wonder what kind of non-profits are out there doing some legwork
Speaking generally here, but if all these millions of people are really absorbed into our workforce and are such a vital part of our economy, how is it that so many of them can find time on a workday to come out and protest? C’mon people, it’s peak season right now! Get back to work!
